TAMPA, Fla. (AP) — A federal judge has signed a warrant to send Florida hedge fund manager Arthur Nadel to New York, where he will face federal securities and wire fraud charges.

The U.S. Marshals Service will transport the 76-year-old Sarasota man to the Southern District of New York, where he was charged. It wasn't immediately clear when that would occur.

U.S. Magistrate Judge Mark Pizzo signed the order Monday.

Nadel disappeared for two weeks in January. The Securities and Exchange Commission has charged him with fraud, saying he misled investors and overstated the value of six investment funds by about $300 million.
