Ruth Madoff as social outcast in Gotham City. Where is the empathy?
Here's a piece that will leave you confused and sad.

Ruth Madoff as social outcast in Gotham City. Where is the empathy? It's a long way from the French Revolution; perhaps a long way from a rigid social justice. The article does prove there's two worlds; two tiers. Here's a woman who allegedly now is complicit in the all time massive ponzi scheme crime - and we bear witness to the sufferings she endures as her salon, her favorite eateries, her florist and a gaggle of others has now given her the back. Should we feel sorry for her? There's something base about it all; where the message gets flouted as something like this,..."it's only money and no one died."

On the other sides of the tracks the financial ledgers are a lot more bloody and much more hotter during the negotiations. That's what's perhaps is so telling of this odd tragedy. The papers and police reports are filled with more bones broken over petty crimes - usually driven by money and passion.

But up there in the stratosphere of gross wealth - there's the shame and betrayal playing out like some 19th century Victorian novel - world's apart. That's what's so odd about the world, it's perceptions, the media and the message. How can everyone be so naive about avarice and money?

I think Jesus should throw out the money lenders.
